Before you book

  • The Abano road closes after heavy rain or snow, sometimes for a day. If it does, we wait in Kakheti rather than take the risk, and we'll talk through options with you.
  • If you get car sick, take something before the pass. There are about 70 km of switchbacks.
  • There's almost no phone signal in Tusheti and no ATMs. Bring enough cash for the three days.
  • The price is per person for two travelers. The 4x4 takes up to four.
